"This is a great home for a family or group of friends. The view from the pool and terrace is exceptional and the local town has some really great restaurants. It is a beautiful home, well located to explore this great island!! I can't say enough about Joanna, her communication with us was exceptional. She gave us great recommendations and was kind enough to leave us supper for our late arrival. We were so lucky to have met her as well. I will be back :)"

"Our 3rd visit to Crete. This is a lovely, air-conditioned apartment, set in a quiet traditional village in a beautiful part of Crete. The views from the patio are stunning. The facilities provided within the apartment, and outside, were all we needed for our 9 night stay. The bed is very comfortable and the pool is everything it looks, maintained at a constant 30 Deg C. "My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. "2 weeks in this glorious villa, Maria and family came a few times to clean and change beds, they were very welcoming and lovely. Pool was lovely temperature and clean. Car is essential as location is a little remote (not a bad thing). Beds are very firm but didn’t affect us. Simply glorious."
