This boutique establishment is right on the ocean, enveloped in lush tropical gardens with everything you need for your vacation - including a swimming pool. The property sits on a quiet acre with the beach at your feet. The sounds of the waves and the whispers of the trade winds let you know you have made it to paradise. Watch the turtles approach the reef or the fish in the tide pools! Find shopping and dining within walking distance, including a coffee shop across the street.

Located directly on the oceanfront, your ground-floor studio condo provides a full kitchen with everything you need to whip up home-cooked meals. Admire breathtaking ocean views from your scenic lanai. Extras include beach towels, a TV with cable, and free WiFi. The grounds also feature a poolside grill and coin-operated laundry. The summer breeze keeps the vacation rental cool. Like most homes in the area, there is no air-conditioning.

We liked that this is a small property not a 3-4 story multi building complex. On first floor with endless waves breaking on the shore below the green lawn. Very private with only the occasional fellow guest between our patio and the ocean.

We had a terrible experience during our stay at this condo. The team which manages this listing is completely irresponsible and they don’t respect any of their guests requests. We had booked this place for 2 nights and 3 days but we had to vacate after the first night and find a better place elsewhere. We requested the team to fix some of the things in the room but never got contacted by anyone from the local team. Only good thing about this condo is that it is oceanfront but the amount of dust inside, heat trapped inside with no good air conditioning made our stay a horrible experience.

Little beach paradise

Beach just steps away out the back door. Centrally located to see both North and South sides of the island. Perfect place to stay to get to know Kauai!

Great ocean view apartment

This spot was a wonderful landing place after our flight. We stayed at 3 locations during our 8 day visit on Kauai and this was the first. It was close to the airport and easy to find. The view and location was outstanding. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean and the sound of waves was exactly what we were hoping for. The beach below the apartment was gorgeous and private and was really easy to get to. There is a short path of stairs that are not steep. Most days when we went out to the beach there were only a few people there. When we were there the surf was strong and there is no lifeguard so it is advised only to swim with caution. However there is a shallow lagoon that kids and adults can wade in and the small swimming pool was clean and also not crowded when we went. The room is a bit small and if you’re staying for more than a few days it can get cramped but if you’re just using this spot for a landing place after adventuring all day that probably wouldn’t be an issue. The bed was comfortable and the fully equipped kitchen was a huge plus for us. Some of the reviews mentions rodent problem, we did not encounter any animal pests during our stay, but there was a charming chicken family who roamed around the property. Overall I give this place an 8/10 definitely would recommend but if you are planning an extended stay I would say split the days between this spot and another larger cottage or house.

Decent unit at an amazing location

Pros - The unit was located at an amazing location. The views in the morning from the patio were amazing! Lots of restaurants/stores located nearby which was great. It was decently stocked with necessary essentials. Eg. Beach chairs, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, bathroom essentials, lots of towels, beach towels. There were some welcome snacks provided which was a nice gesture. Checking in was super convenient due to detailed instructions. Parking was available in ample inside the community. For us, we requested a late checkout because we had a really late flight. We contacted the management and they were able to get it confirmed in less than 5 mins for a small fee. For us, that was super helpful. Cons - The unit had a rodent issue. We were unaware and left a few food items (bread in its packaging, bananas, cookies in their packaging) on the counter which were eaten into. Few of our bags containing food were chewed into too. I understand the tropical climate could result in the presence of bugs, but I was not expecting rodents. Would have been good if they could have at least let us know so we would have been more careful with the food. Some essentials like coffee, sugar, common salt were missing from the pantry. The apartment was clean and well kept, but definitely was old and dated.

Spectacular locatiom

This was a perfect location. 20 feet from the beach on the ground floor. The unit was very small without a bedroom, but it was perfect for my wife and me. We went to sleep each night to the sound of the ocean. Pure paradise!

Loved it!

Loved, loved, loved the view and listening to the ocean waves all day. Great communication with mgmt. Nice welcome package with a card. Great touch! Shops and restaurants within walking distance and Safeway is a short drive. There is also a super walmart between property and the airport. Great size for hubby and I but it would be tight if you add small child or above. I would stay here again.

Truly magical

On our first honeymoon after 20 years together. Paradise! Everything we needed was here, and nothing could beat the beauty, not to mention, privacy! We walked along the coastline, and yes there were resorts with more amenities, but that included more guests. We felt like we were in a romantic sanctuary. Cons: sticky floors, due to humidity I'm sure. 3.5/5 cleanliness, but the charm certainly outweighed the minor imperfections. Planning to return with our teens next year! **Don't feed the chickens!

Excellent getaway for two!

The space is arguably in the best location on the east side of the island. It is within walking distance to shops, great restaurants, shave ice, and a grocery store. The beach and pool are very relaxing, with ample lounge chairs available for use. The grounds are lush and very beautiful. The room itself is quite cozy. The view is unbeatable, as it has a direct view of the ocean with a nice balcony. There were only 2 of us and we found it a little tricky to find places to store our bags. I think a luggage stand would have helped. We felt that the room was reasonably clean - however, the floors could use a good mop and vacuum. Other reviews mentioned concerns about towels. We stayed here 4 nights and were given 4 bath towels and 2 beach towels. This was sufficient for our needs. There were also plenty of hand towels and washcloths. The parking lot fills up after 7:00 or 8:00 PM, but we could always find street parking if needed. Overall we had a wonderful time here. Despite the small things nitpicked in this review, I would still stay here 100 times over. It made for a vacation we will never forget!

Oceanfront

The unit was small, no stove but you get a great ocean vew. We enjoyed just sitting in the balcony and walking along the coast. Within walking distance to shops and eating places.

Nice location!

Great condo, great view, great sleeping with the sounds of the waves! Centralized location made getting around island more convenient. A little dated and could of used some staples like salt and pepper but easy enough to get around that if you know not to expect anything. I know some places trash everything left. Super fun island! Loved Queens Bath!!

Good central location

Easy to find reasonable places to eat close by. A lot within 5 to 15 minutes of walking. Very nice grounds and very well kept! Nice right on the beach! Lava Lave right next door. Get up early to watch the sunrise at least once, it is worth it.

Relaxing and beautiful

The Islander on the Beach is the most relaxing place to stay. The beach views from the lanai are amazing. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise with my coffee and taro/coconut muffin every morning. The place is quiet and the vibe is chill.
