「View from Classic double room sea view are covered by gloomy old tree so I asked them to change the room. They assigned me somewhat smaller but upper floor room but view from the room satisfied me enough. All staffs work good but some receptionists are somewhat blunt. Amenities are old and poor but not useless. Hand towel and conditioner are needed. View from rooftop are incredibly beautiful. Very close to beach and temple. If I had a chance to visit Kanyakumari, I would stay there.」

「The staff were decent and I liked the chalet like rooms for number of people we had in the group. Each chalet had a king bed and a twin bed. That part was great. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest nor the towels. The hot water took an hour to come through the shower and one of the rooms wouldn’t drain water (they did accommodate to shower in another room). 「Hotel is only 200 meters away from railway station and right besides the highway. So many food options are available nearby. Hotel rooms were very clean. Interiors were in perfect condition. 「We stayed at Hotels Umaiyyal Home Stay for 3 nights. The rooms are very good and spacious. They were tidy and well-maintained. However, during our stay, the lifts were not operational. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor, so we had to use the stairs for two days. The staff here is not proactive; they wait until we complain, and follow-up is required.
