Our stay at Eastin Hotel Penang was excellent. The hotel provided a comfortable, clean, and quiet environment, and its proximity to Queensbay Mall was very convenient. A special commendation goes to Ms Azura, whose consistent warm welcome and cheerful demeanor significantly enhanced our breakfast experience. The breakfast itself was already among the best we have encountered. Additionally, Dave, the chef at the warm food counter, consistently prepared exceptionally fluffy and moist omelets. Mr. Shakib, a member of the executive lounge service crew, was remarkably attentive. He was the first to proactively inquire if we required any alcoholic beverages or beer, beyond those available at the self-service drink counter. Our housekeeper, Jitender, also deserves recognition. He always greeted us with enthusiasm and diligently ensured that everything was in order throughout our stay. We look forward to returning to Eastin Hotel Penang on our next visit to the area.

Close to malls, tourist attractions, great location for restaurants. Supermarket also close by, plus the usual 7 eleven for necessities. They have coin operated washers and dryers in site, best of all are the staff, such really nice people. Would definitely stay again. Fast and friendly check-in set the tone right away. Within minutes we were upstairs in a tidy, modern room that felt well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The lobby is nicely decorated with a distressed mid-century feel. Think aviation metal and worn leather, the sort of aesthetic that makes you half expect a Pan Am pilot from the 1960s to wander through looking for a drink. The room itself is comfortable and practical. The bed is on the firm side but paired with very soft pillows, which makes for a surprisingly good night’s sleep. The bathroom is modern and beautifully tiled with excellent hot water temperature, always a welcome luxury after wandering around humid Penang. Small touches help. The coffee bar includes a fridge and two complimentary bottles of water each day, something you’ll appreciate after exploring the streets of George Town. Location is another big win. The hotel sits within easy walking distance of several food markets, a mall, and plenty of local points of interest, making it a convenient base for eating and exploring your way around the city.
