Ran across this well rated location on a busy Easter Saturday when many locations were fully booked or only had king rooms remaining (we need 2 queens). Very pleased with this location! Everything from the bathroom to the carpet, foyer to hallways was very clean. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well and was quiet. Speaking of quiet, even though there were nearby guests we’d see in the halls plus many cars outside, did not hear a thing in the room, including that we don’t hear footsteps above us either. Would definitely recommend for a quick and comfortable stay."

"We arrived late after 8 hours on the road to no one in the office. We called multiple times, rang the bell, and even just waited quietly. After 15 minutes with no help, I called the national office, which also attempted to get in touch with hotel staff. They even called management's emergency line and could not get in touch with anyone. We waited over an hour without getting any help. Eventually the staff member returned and said the manager had asked her to get a head start on laundry. She was apologetic, but being gone from the front desk with no call forwarding and without returning to check seems like bad practice, and the manager never answered the emergency line. Something is not right here. "

"I’ve stayed in Microtel Inns several times and have had zero complaints. I will never stay in this one again (Florence, SC). Musty smell, the bathroom looks like it was caulked by a first grader. Most if the electrical outlets have lost their tension and need replaced. Others have burn marks from arcing. Trying to tune a specific TV channel is a joke. Corporate needs to do a surprise visit. "
