"We got a free upgrade to a junior suite, which was lovely with a separate sitting area and a nice coffee machine. We spent a good bit of time in the spa, it was all beautifully tiled with lots of things to try. We also had massages which were wonderful and relaxing! Breakfast was delicious with a wide selection to choose from."

"They have older and renovated rooms. Get renovated. Spa is amazing, Yelena ( red hair lady) excellent massage therapist! My mom got a massage with Liudmila and she was amazing as well. Spa packages are great value and a must! Pool/sauna area is renovated and great for families with kids or couples, swim up bar makes the experience more fun :)"

"Small hotel with walking distance to concert hall. Stayed for one night. Kettle was in the room but you need to bring your own tea and coffee, had 2 cups and one tea spoon."

"Semarah Lielupe hotel is the best in the area. The location is walkable to the sea and the surrounding area is beautiful and safe. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and very professional. They cater to all your needs and respond immediately. The amenities of the hotel are amazing: spa service, gym, pool and saunas. There is a lot of people accommodated in the hotel, but the service is quick and impeccable. I would highly recommend the hotel. Been staying in it second year in a row and would return back . "Very nice modern comfortable room in a recent addition to the hotel. The only inconvenience was that one of us had to wait in the car on the street, while the other went to the reception to pay for the parking and get the instructions on how to get there. Fortunately, the line at the reception was not very long at that time. After parking, we had to line up at the reception for check-in again. The parking was only a few minutes walk to the hotel along a closed street in the old town. There is a very big (mostly food) market at about 10 min walk from the hotel. "
