ãSemarah Lielupe hotel is the best in the area. The location is walkable to the sea and the surrounding area is beautiful and safe. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and very professional. They cater to all your needs and respond immediately. The amenities of the hotel are amazing: spa service, gym, pool and saunas. There is a lot of people accommodated in the hotel, but the service is quick and impeccable. I would highly recommend the hotel. Been staying in it second year in a row and...
ãGreat little hotel in a wonderful location. Rooms are tasteful and comfortable, and a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was of a great standard. The roof terrace was a nice bonus, and the hotel is situated just off the main street and a short walk from the beach. Negatives were that the walls were a bit marked and the carpets were slightly stained, but overall a really nice hotel. Perfect for a relaxed break.ã
ãThere was a note of âGreen housekeeping programâ that on 2nd and 3rd day they change towels without cleaning and donate one Euro to countries needs in water.
However, they never change towels on 1st, 2nd 3rd day. I donât understand the intention correctly?
I asked reception and they promptly changed towels. Otherwise no change of towels and cups and glasses for 7 days.
I regret hanging the tag of green housekeeping.ã
"All of the staff were friendly and kind, and the breakfast had a lovely selection of fresh vegetables and fruitsâespecially the potatoes, which were delicious. The room was spacious, clean, and absolutely comfortable, and I was really touched by the unexpected little gifts like soap and chocolates.
On the fifth floor, right by the elevator, there were homemade fruit juices and cookies placed out daily, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. They were so delicious that other guests also would often enjoy them, and by the evening, they were usually all gone.
I borrowed a wheelchair several times when going out, and everyone was more than willing to help, which I truly appreciated. The location was fantastic tooâthereâs a Lido nearby, and the Old Town is just about a 15-minute walk away.
If I ever visit Riga again, Iâll definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you so much for everything!"
"We stayed for 3 nights on December 29th, 30th and 31st as a family of 4. We were told that dinner was included in the plan, but they suddenly said that they couldn't provide it. However, when we arrived on the day, we were given a voucher for a nearby restaurant of the same chain. The service at that restaurant is not so good, so I don't recommend it. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent, with a variety of dishes and delicious food. The room is small, but comfortable and clean. You can see Riga's bus terminal and market from the room. It's a great location, 5-10 minutes walk from the old town, and supermarkets and malls are within walking distance. This is a recommended hotel in Riga."
