"we loved our little casa in Costa Rica. the property was great..had everything we needed but the host was the true star. VERY helpful and would almost immediately reply when we texted with any questions. the most beautiful sunsets are right across the street (er, dirt road) from you..we had the beach almost to ourselves every time we went. loved the property!"

"This was a beautiful property, right on the beach. It felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. The pool was beautiful and warm and we enjoyed making dinner at home and eating outside on the back deck each night. The property was a bit of a drive from shops and the big, modern grocery stores in Tamarindo, but with a car it is easy to get around. We had a lovely, relaxing time here!"

"This place was one of our favorites on our road trip around Costa Rica. It is a simple accommodation, but has everything you could possibly need if your goal is to: beach, need the occasional cool escape inside from the sun, make yourself food, witness what a dark and starry night truly feels like, and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The owner is helpful and accommodating. A gem of a place!"

"Awesome location - literally steps from the water, you can see the tide come in from the balcony and hear the ocean from your room (& smell the sea air too). Well equipped little cabin room with functional kitchen and fridge. Had some power and water outages the first couple days, and the room gets a bit hot in the afternoons - sort of like a camping/cabin experience but right on the water with some jungle behind you. Host very friendly responsive, tap water is clean for drinking, and area is very safe. Bring water shoes/reef booties. Easiest town is Playa Negra 15min up the beach for a few shops."
