"I understand they are under renovation but to offer a better experience why don’t they put the reality of the hotel conditions, exposure of wires everywhere, room cover in dust, pool was closed. I wasn’t prepare to leave a deposit being said that it said no deposit needed. That cut my money expenses a lot . But i think there is a way to plan better rent a whole different hotel not there"

"This place was located in a convenient and quiet area. Unfortunately, that was only good thing about it. While the staff were not exactly welcoming, they weren't necessarily unpleasant. They simply checked us in and gave us our key, which is just fine with me. Now to talk about the room. Let me start by saying that I tend to book less expensive rooms simply because I'm not generally looking for anything fancy. I simply want a clean room where I can get some sleep at the end of the day. Our room (162) was literally the worst place I've ever stayed. It was not just dirty, it was grimy. We had to ask for toilet paper for our room. Our bathroom kept filling up with cigarette odors from adjoining rooms. There was a strange broken cabinet thing in the wall of the bathroom, amongst many other areas if disrepair. They bathtub was dark gray with grime. The beds and bedding were awful. As we were very exhausted, we just curled up in the travel blankets from our car and slept a couple of hours on top of the beds. While I don't enjoy leaving such a negative review, it was a very unpleasant stay and I hope the feedback helps with making changes."

"Very disappointed with our stay last night. The hotel feels extremely outdated, and the room was poorly maintained. The shower was tiny and had visible rust, which made it feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. The worst part was the bed — there was a huge sinkhole in the middle of the mattress, and it caused serious back pain overnight. On top of that, the refrigerator was incredibly old and noisy (easily over 45 dB). It woke me up three separate times during the night, making it almost impossible to get proper rest. Overall, the room needs major renovation and better maintenance. Definitely not worth the price of $136 and I would not stay here again."

"By mistake I booked a single king for a 4 night stay when I actually needed a 2 bed. The first night my friend and I had to stay in the single bed, the manager the next morning switched us to a nicer room, that had a higher rate, with 2 beds for no charge. It’s a budget hotel with a lot of residents seeming to be long term/weekly renters but my experience was comfortable beds, fridge/microwave, good working AC and generally peaceful and quiet environment. I’ve stayed in a lot of inexpensive budget motels before and sometimes it’s luck of the draw but for the rate I received, the room and hospitality was a good value. Also very close to Midvale train station, 1 block walk about 2 minutes. Made getting to the festival in SLC state fairground very easy. Also a really good diner next door. Awesome breakfast(dinner menu looked good too but only went in the morning) and they share a parking lot. So all in all very convenient location for travelers especially if on a budget."
