「名前の通り西部開拓時代を彷彿とさせる、素敵なB&Bです。床鳴りがする古い無垢の床もなんとも歴史を感じます。 西部劇の舞台のような佇まいと古さながら、清掃は行き渡っていて清潔でした。 ホテルスタッフの方も親切で、レストランで食べきれず持ち帰ったものを翌日出発まで冷蔵庫で預かってくださいました。 朝食はホームメイドのシリアルとワッフルに、名物のリンゴのコンフォートが添えてあり、とても美味しかったです。ジュリアンでのんびりしたい時には、とてもおすすめの宿です！」

「This is an absolute gem. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel instantly relaxed. This is not a luxury property but they’ve done an excellent job focusing on the things that count to deliver a great, peaceful experience. Bed was comfy, grounds and view were lovely and breakfast was good. My friend enjoyed her massage, ranking it toward one of the best she’s had. It was a great experience and I would return.」

「Beautiful location and clean. But! Not a peaceful place for couples or adults. When we stayed there, there were just two other rooms rented- one with a family of 7 and one with 6 college students sharing a room. Super loud common area directly outside room, kids running laps, banging on floors above us, very little privacy or calm. Property owners post guest’s full names for all to see which also seems like a safety issue. Great if you love chaos. 」

「When I tried to fill the bathtub with hot water, the hot water came out of the shower (upper) even though I had switched the valve to the bathtub (lower). I think the switching valve is broken. The room was clean and everything else was good.」

「Lovely grounds and very nice hotel. Website should be updated as hotel no longer serves cooked breakfast. Baskets delivered each morning with coffee were very nice but we needed protein. Happy hour was fun and staff very helpful. 」

「This cozy & quiet tiny house was a fun stay for us. Clean, comfortable & has all the amenities needed (microwave, kitchenette & a nice bathroom). Our host was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. I highly recommend this place with its very wonderful host.」

「The Pheasant Hill Cabin had everything that my family and I needed for a short weekend getaway. It was located in the perfect spot to be able to enjoy both Julian and the Anza-Borrego State Park. The host was quick to respon and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!」

「Disappointed with the lack of aesthetics at the pool and it was filthy. Lots of floating dead bees, mosquitos, and other insects. Also, the water spigot at our site was dispensing brown water. And our site had a sewer lid where you can smell the stench」
