「The location on the beautiful lake and close to the fjords and lots of activities was great. The breakfast was good. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Of course, it is a guest house and our room was equipped with simple bunk beds. But it was very nice stay for us as a family. 」

「本の村フィヤーランドの素敵なホテル マウンテンヴューに３泊宿泊。 バスで、sogndal skystationから氷河ミュージアムfjaerland kryssまで30分弱移動して、氷河ミュージアムから30分程歩く。日に1本fjaerlandとミュージアム間のバスがあるが、利用しなかった。 ホテルは、本の村だけに本を読むのに最適な環境でした。テレビ、冷蔵庫無し。 ラウンジが居心地良く、フィヨルドの景色がとても良かった。晴れていれば、デッキも気持ち良さそうだったが、あいにく雨が降ったり止んだりの天気でした。 朝食のホームメイドのパンが美味しかった。 ディナーも、スターターのキノコリゾット、メインのラムステーキ、デザートのフォンダンショコラどれも美味しかった。 チェックアウトの日に頭痛がして、体調不良を伝えたところ、お昼まで滞在させて頂き助かりました。」

「Historisk hotell i sveitserstil. Fikk et av de største rommene i romantisk stil med balkong og utsikt mot vann og fjell. Sengene var gode, romslig bad med god plass til toalettsaker. Litteratur på rommet « tips om hva gjøre lokalt og med bil innen en time». Rommet var rent. Restauranten hadde nydelig lokal mat. Vertskapet introduserte middagen med hva vi fikk å spise samt historien om hotellets opprinnelse og utvikling. Beliggenheten, helt ypperlig blant fjord og fjell.」

「This is a lovely property in a beautiful spot. We stayed in one of the historic rooms in the main building. It was comfortable, quiet, and the water pressure was excellent. The three course dinner with wine pairings was delicious and beautifully presented, if a tad pricey. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. A unique hotel experience that we would definitely do again.」

「The property is located above Geiranger village at a height with a great great clear view of the fjord and Geiranger town below. The host was warming, informative and welcoming. The rooms were well furnished and clean with excellent cleanliness and a kitchen for guest use with a great view of the fjord ahead.」
