「Highly recommend - it was the most beautiful place we stayed at during our Norway visit. Our property was right on the Oppstrynsvatnet lake. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and had all amenities - full kitchen, dining, iron, hair dryer. The house also had an in-house sauna in addition to a Panaroma sauna on the property. 「Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!」

「Clean cabin however the WiFi did not work in the cabin. You have to purchase both the bed sheets and the towels in a bundle and cannot purchase just one. This was not clearly written in the description. Also you had to buy a token to take a 5 min shower which I was not aware of based on the description. 」

「My family and I loved our stay at Lyngmo Hytter. The cabin we stayed in was cozy, and had a great view of the surrounding lake. The staff were friendly and helpful upon check-in and check-out, making the process stress-free. The shared washroom facility was clean and well stocked with supplies. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection, with excellent quality local food staples. I would definitely come back and stay for longer to thoroughly explore the surrounding area.」
