We loved the location and easy access to Joshua Tree NP and appreciated the host’s recommendations for hikes and sights. The house was roomy and the mattresses were exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.
Spent 4 days here and it was the perfect end to our holiday. Plenty of space for everyone and backyard is so relaxing, especially after day of touring/hiking the park. Location is fantastic too-walking distance to main part of Joshua Tree. Highly recommend.
If you’re looking to stay in Joshua tree, this is the place for you. The energy in the house was amazing, view was amazing and you could even walk to town for some yummy coffee! Could not recommended this place enough me and 5 of my friends could not stop saying “we need to just move in here, it’s perfect”, thank you hosts for an amazing stay!
The house has an amazing modern artsy house, is very spacious, with hot bath and everything you need. We loved our stay and very close to the shops and restaurants in joshua tree as well as entrance to joshua national park. We even squeezed a night trip to there for start gazing. The owners very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Convent location to Joshua Tree National Park, restaurants, and shops. Quite neighborhood, updated and spacious property stocked with all the incidentals. Highly recommend.
Very near the entrance of the park, restaurants walking distance. Has stove, fridge, huge tv, tub, microwave, cooking utensils, too bad we did not bring coffee grounds for the coffee maker. Suggestion to tell the renter in the future what are available especially in the kitchen.
Beautiful home! Roomy, aesthetically pleasing, really clean, super comfortable, private— truly a home away from home!!! I will definitely plan on coming back sometime soon!!!
This home is fantastic. It is spacious and has an open inviting floorplan. Beautiful bathrooms and very clean! The hot tub was a nice addition for the cold nights. Location was great for seeing the national park and central to Yucca Valley as well as Twentynine Palms.
We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this property. It was comfortable and conveniently located to the park, visitors center, and restaurants. The house was clean, featured well curated decor, and had an open plan with lots of space to lounge after a day of exploring. We didn't get an opportunity to use the hot tub, but we also heard the neighbor's dog barking whenever we were in the back. Still, it was a great place and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property again.
Location was excellent--easy access to the park, to get to other places, coffee just down the street...quiet area.House had great books/magazines--check out the cookbooks! Kitchen was was great, could use a few more cooking tools but we weren't there long enough for it to make a difference. Loved the porch, shoes off in the house--keeps it so much cleaner and really just enjoyed everything--very comfortable--oh my the beds after a long days hike--the best! Don't forget the hot tub! Perfect for a cool night and gaze at the stars--would love to come back again!
Maria was a responsive host, which we appreciated, and the home was ideally located near JT. Unfortunately, the primary amenities for which we chose this home were challenging: Outdoor fire pit/column was inoperable (Maria did try but was unable to get someone to repair, and our stay was only 1 night). Additionally. the washer/dryer were located on a precarious ledge which requires you to straddle a ladder or nearby stairs (one of which had a loose/broken tile) to access. There was also an outlet hanging out of the wall in one of the bedrooms, and the door to front bedroom slid off its tracks. A challenging one night stay, but still a responsive host and a great location.
This location is ideal if you are planing to visit Joshua Tree National Park! Literally right across the street from the visitor center. We were 2 couples so the 2 rooms were perfect. Our only issue was the a/c was shut off when we arrived on a 103 degree day so it took the entire day for the house to cool off. We only stayed 1 night so if staying longer it shouldn’t be an issue the following days. Overall a great place to stay and I definitely plan to stay here again when we visit in the winter!
Our family of four stayed for a night before exploring Joshua Tree National Park. As we approached the property, we were a little taken aback by the high fencing surrounding the property, but once inside, the house and property was exactly as shown in the listing, and we appreciated the privacy that the fencing offered. The house was very clean and decorated beautifully, with local artists' work. There was ample space for our group, and we enjoyed the hot tub during our visit. The location in relation to JTNP was ideal, allowing for quick stops for gas and a park pass at the visitor's center before our adventure. We'd definitely stay again!
We had a great stay at Blue Sunday! Two super comfy king beds. We loved the upstairs downstairs split levels of this home. Great for teens downstairs. Kitchen is well stocked and a real kitchen with updated appliances. We liked the open floor plan for the main living space. The short walk to town was perfect keeping us out of our car and providing some teen freedom. We soaked in the hot tub, swung in the hammock swings and enjoyed reading in the sunroom. Communication with the property manager was prompt and seamless. Thank you! This was the perfect house for our Joshua Tree trip this year. We’d stay here again.
I loved our stay here! Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working but everything else was amazing I just wish we were able to stay longer. The house was so close to all of the little shops and the saloon! We will definitely be coming back!!!
