"Charming restored historic hotel. The village of Whitehaven is a collection of traditional old homes which have mostly been restored. The hotel is very near a historic ferry which operates every day for free since it is part of the state hywy system. Taking the ferry which crosses the Wicomico River can save an amount of time if travelling in some directions. The is hostess very helpful , accommodating and serves a superb breakfast."

"This house was amazing! Like, think about how I can buy this house the entire week amazing. The house is newly renovated and no detail was forgotten - right down to towels, linens & shower supplies. Beds are comfortable and enough bathrooms for a crowd. The best part is the open living room and kitchen area with river views all around. Kitchen is well stocked with supplies, dishes & cutlery.The location was good for us with many attractions within driving distance. We had kids ages 17, 10 & 8 with us and found something to do to make everyone happy - Crisfield Beach MD, Snow Hill MD, Maui Jacks in Chincoteague VA, the beach at Chincoteague, and the boardwalk at Ocean City MD.The wrap around deck is great with beautiful views of the Pocomoke River. There is a boat slip a short drive down the road. The fish didn’t bite much for us but the crabs did!Great shore bird watching. This place is a true gem!"

"A great Motel 6. We had a comfortable stay and would stay here again if traveling through the area again. You cant go wrong here. "

"The cottage was very homey, pretty and clean. The furnishings and color scheme have the cottage a wam feel. What was a particularly nice touch was the cute doggie towel on the bench by the front door and doggie bags for clean up. The dog towel came in handy since my dear darling rolled on a rotten duck egg. The host was very friendly and accessible if needed. Will definitely stay there again."
