New Listing, Premier Host, Historic Cabin newly remodeled, private, quiet, CLEAN

"The place was super cute and clean and they provided coffee beans and a grinder and a lovely bar of James ranch tallow soap for the shower ( no shampoo/conditioner provided so bring your own or plan on buying it) . Despite no AC, it stayed pretty cool most of the day even in 95days that lasted our entire 4 days. We made sure to find something to do elsewhere during peak high temps and visited nearby Silverton for much cooler temps one of the days. The bed is very high up and I’m pretty short but even my much taller husband had some trouble getting in lol. (They do have step stools if you need it.) We visited James Ranch restaurant and market which was great and Honeyville which are all super close and fun as well. We were also greeted by a couple very friendly ranch dogs a few of the days. The creek running through is very loud and drowns out any traffic noise as others have mentioned. There is no microwave but does have a full gas stove if you need to reheat. We brought our bikes and left them outside the porch area and really enjoyed riding the Animas river trail to explore the area. I would stay again but probably when it’s cooler, they were having an extreme heat wave while we were there."

"This property was a great place for our family to stay. My kids are all adults, but they had a lot of fun staying in the bunk room. The size was just right, and it was really nice to have a townhome style so that there wasn't anyone above us. The view from the deck and balcony was really pretty. Since it is a little outside of town, it was really quiet. The property had everything we needed and was very clean and nicely decorated. Having a dedicated parking space right in front was really nice too (there are two dedicated spaces, so that would be great when traveling in more than one car)."

"The kitchen was well stocked. The house was lovely. The view off the deck was unbeatable. We only had two issues. The a/c froze up and the house was hot the first night. They came and helped get it corrected the next day. There was a bear that broke through the “bear-proof” trash can. (Not something that can really be prepared for)."

"Our family had an amazing time in Colorado staying at Bends Whitewater Ranch. The home was just lovely and the setting even better. We loved being by the Animas River. One of our grandchildren was fishing in the front river any time we were not busy! We loved the spacious living room/kitchen area and found everything we needed to enjoy family meals. The sleeping accommodations were perfect for our family members to all have good places to rest. We also appreciated the home being very clean when we arrived to check in. We were there during a bit of a heat wave so the afternoons and evenings inside got a little warm but we managed by going by the river and keeping the fans in use! Thank you for a wonderful site for our get together!"
