This was a relaxing stop on a girls road trip. We relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed breakfast on the back deck. The owners were very kind, welcomed us warmly, and made us feel at home. How did we get so lucky to have found this haven?!

This is a great property with even better hosts. They made me feel right at home. It is probably the closest B&B near Purgatory Ski Resort. Convenient, private and an overall wonderful time. I will return.

Very nice country setting and the establishment was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing yet close enough to Durango and other sites of interest. The hosts, Jodi and Walter, were very pleasant and welcoming and have been in the area a long time. They provided us some good tips about sites to see. We would definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

Outstanding BnB not to be missed

We had a wonder, albeit brief, stay. The BnB is wonderful!! Cozy and equiped with everything you could ever need. Lovely touches like homemade cookied and muffins for breakfast made it a real treat. Walter, the host, is outstanding, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to avoid the hotels in Durango.

Absolutely the best B&B ever! Jodi and Walter make you feel like family. Listening to the sound of the river at breakfast, on the veranda, surrounded by birds of all kinds is our favorite memory. We saw the overall rating for the property on Hotels.com was 10/10-- and we see why. It's lovely. It was absolutely immaculate, and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Because we arrived late in the evening and early in the morning, we didn't get a chance to take advantage of all the amenities, but we'll certainly be back!

The property was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable throughout our stay. The owners—a delightful couple—were accommodating and genuinely pleasant, adding a personal touch that made us feel welcome. One of the highlights was spending time on the back deck, which offered stunning views of the mountains and unforgettable sunsets, all accented by the charm of hummingbirds and wild turkeys in the yard. There was one minor drawback: the bedroom floor squeaked noticeably with each step, occasionally waking my wife in the morning. While this didn’t detract from the overall experience, addressing the issue would make future stays even more restful.
