"The house was very comfortable, roomy, and clean. Quick drive to Stratton mountain. Host always responded fast and was helpful. Will definitely stay again."

"Be ware that a “preferred room” means a room pets can stay in, not a better room! Hallways smelled of itine on side of hotel where pets are allowed. No elevator so mugging suitcases and skis up stairs was trying. Room size large.staff. Staff we dealt with was lovely! "

"It’s an absolutely incredible home and we really loved our stay. It’s close to Stratton mountain and very easy to get to, which made everything convenient. The views are amazing and the whole place has a very relaxing feel. You can tell a lot of thought and attention to detail went into the home. The kitchen is amazing and made it really enjoyable to cook and spend time together, and we loved the Sonos sound system throughout the house and the hot tub & pool table. Everything felt very clean, upscale, comfortable, and well set up for a great stay. Karen was a fantastic host, very attentive and easy to communicate with. We’re already planning to come back and stay again next year."

" The location was beautiful RIGHT on the river and overall the house was charming. The heat warmed the house despite single digit temps outside but we really utilized the awesom ewood atove that threw lots of heat. There was plenty of wood to burn. One downside was i hadnt saved the access info for entry to the house & due to remote lication we had no signal to get the code so i had ro drive 10 min down the road to get the door code & wifi password from an email! The kitchen was stocked with condiments & coffee & plenty of cookware. Beds were fine, not 5 star but comfortable enough. I would recommend & we may try to come back to this house in the summer!Thank you!"

"The house itself was wonderful and easy to access. Communication with Vacasa, the host, was ineffective or nonexistent. I contacted the host in advance with questions, both answers were incorrect. I communicated before we left with the host, and there was no response.Other than the communication issues, the house was very clean, spacious and enjoyable."

"Host was very responsive even late into the night. Clean rooms and adequate everything; towels, blankets, paper towels, etc... home away from home. Clear instructions on arrival and check out. "

"Food and drinks at the bar were very good. Location to Magic Mountain was great. Staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. Room could use a little updating. "

"The host Casey is very responsive which we truly appreciated, but "An Oasis", this is not. The house is worn and the bathrooms were not cleaned to the level they should have been. Casey offered to have the cleaning service return, but with a house full of kids, we didn't want the disruption. The master bedroom tv on the top floor didn't work, which we didn't realize until our first evening, so we were without a tv the first night. However Casey had it replaced the next morning which we appreciated. The coffee maker didn't work, and the fireplace flue didn't function properly, so we quickly had to douse our beautiful fire with water to put it out, as smoke started entering the house - we couldn't enjoy a fire. And the firepit area outside wasn't shoveled so that area could not be used. I just think owners should check that everything works in their home before new renters arrive. Hopefully all these items will be fixed/replaced before the next set of renters arrive. The location of the home is perfect! Truly only a 5 minute drive to Stratton Mountain. And again, Casey was very responsive which was great."
