"This cabin is located in the forest and very close to Stratton ski resort, which makes it a convenient place to stay for skiing. The road leading to the cabin includes a long unpaved section, which can be a bit challenging to drive on, especially in winter. The host provided clear and accurate directions, and check-in went smoothly. The cabin itself has an older, rustic style. Some facilities, especially in the bathroom, could use updates. The toilet does not have a flushing system and is very basic, and the shower area is also quite simple. The kitchen equipment is somewhat dated, and a few items did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. It was also the only place we have stayed where guests are asked to bring their own bed sheets and pillowcases. One of the most pleasant surprises was the record player and the large collection of vinyl records. It really gave the cabin a special character and atmosphere. The living room was definitely the most enjoyable space in the house."

" The location was beautiful RIGHT on the river and overall the house was charming. The heat warmed the house despite single digit temps outside but we really utilized the awesom ewood atove that threw lots of heat. There was plenty of wood to burn. One downside was i hadnt saved the access info for entry to the house & due to remote lication we had no signal to get the code so i had ro drive 10 min down the road to get the door code & wifi password from an email! The kitchen was stocked with condiments & coffee & plenty of cookware. Beds were fine, not 5 star but comfortable enough. I would recommend & we may try to come back to this house in the summer!Thank you!"

"The house itself was wonderful and easy to access. Communication with Vacasa, the host, was ineffective or nonexistent. I contacted the host in advance with questions, both answers were incorrect. I communicated before we left with the host, and there was no response.Other than the communication issues, the house was very clean, spacious and enjoyable."

"The host was very thorough and the house was wonderful. The Wifi was especially helpful as there is limited cell phone service in the area. We truly felt like we were a part of the surrounding nature. Finally, Stratton Mountain was just 20-25 minutes away--great for the ski season!"

"We had such a good time. It was super accessible and easy to get to, which made everything feel relaxed from the start. The cabin is very modern, clean, and honestly just so cute while still keeping that cozy Vermont cabin feel.The hot tub and sauna were definitely highlights for us, it was the perfect way to unwind. We also loved that there were plenty of board games — it made our nights in really fun and cozy.The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful, very responsive and kind. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests having a great experience.Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would absolutely come back. "
