Great house for our family vacation

The house had plenty of space for our group of 11 adults. There is a lovely view of both the ocean and the sound and multiple decks for either sun or shade lounging. The main deck off the kitchen wraps around a bit and was wonderful for sharing a meal outside (we made a low country boil!). The large table inside fit all of us around it for meals and games. The home decor and comfort were amazing. Owners must have recently replaced flooring, interior paint/trim, mattresses, sofas/chairs, and deck furniture. We felt spoiled having 6 bathrooms, each with beautiful tile and new fixtures. The kitchen was spacious, but it could use just a few more cooking tools. There was no coffee grinder, wine glasses, or lobster/crab crackers, and the garbage can had a difficult lid, but all of that was no big deal. We cooked several large dinners and breakfasts while family enjoyed drinks around the beautiful stone counter or on the decks. The beach access is right across the street, an easy walk, even carrying beach supplies. The street can get busy, so kids would need to be supervised crossing, but we had no issues going back and forth. The house has plenty of parking and easily fit all 6 cars that we had there. There is a shower in the car port and plenty of space to leave beach supplies out overnight. We had a great time!!

Great for large family or groit

The location has lots of potential. Cleanliness was quite lacking. We were told that with “Covid regulations” it took longer to get into homes. If that’s the case, I would certainly never consider visiting after ANY pandemic because I would not consider it Covid clean by any means. White tables were clearly dirty from handprints and general lack of cleaning. Toilets all had black nasty stains - looked Like an issue with water or something, but that needs to be fixed. We were left with not even a piece of toilet Tissue or a single piece of soap. Too bad if you arrive after a 4 hour trip dying to use the bathroom prior to unloading. No TP! PULEASE!!! Adequate but cheap cooking utensils. Location decent and close to beach access- nice.

Sibling Sabbatical

Spacious

The inside of the property was well maintained and beach access is directly across the street. However there was construction occurring next door and was very loud in the morning. The outside has a lot of wild grass and branches around the home. Additionally, I highly recommend bringing your own face and dry towels, the rental fee for towels is not worth it. The towels are very dingy. In fact, we didn’t even bother to unwrap some of them which come sealed in plastic. We elected to purchase new ones instead and some of us brought towels with us. Lastly, there a lots of ants around the kitchen counter that appear to come from outside through the electrical outlet. By the time we noticed them, we had to throw away food we had placed on the counter because ants found a way in it. Also, we questioned if they cleaned the blankets in between guest stays because they ask you to make the beds before you checkout. We did as requested but didn’t understand why make a bed if housekeeping will be washing the blanket.

Beach Weekend

We loved staying at this property! The home was clean and well maintained with awesome views of both the ocean and sound. The beach access was a very short walk! We would definitely stay here again!

The best vacation spot!

There was a total of 13 people in the house and we fit so comfortably. The location was incredible, the house was big and clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better house at Topsail!

Great location, close to beach access

Great location, close to beach access. Let’s start with the beautiful deck views of the sound and of the ocean. We had a group of 10 and had plenty of room. The house was pretty clean minus the understandable wear and tear on the carpet on the stairs. The kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes cooking utensils etc. Do keep in mind there is some traffic noise from the street but it’s kinda expected since all The houses are situated on either side of the street. We were also unable to figure out how to use the outdoor shower. One of the big downsides since we are from the West Coast, having to bring all linens, bedding, garbage bags etc. kind of felt like we were going camping and was a lot of extra work. Overall, nice stay.

Restful Haven

Just checked-out after a 4-day stay with 9 family members from 6 different households. LOVED the house - extra clean! The greatest ocean & waterway views, including wildlife! Even with 5 additional family members from nearby, we never felt crowded - lots of space for our group. Everyone staying had a bathroom - really nice! The kitchen is filled with everything needed to make full meals for lots of people, including lots of plates, cups & cutlery, etc. Just be aware there are no linens and no paper goods. This is not an issues if you know ahead of time & have a plan how you'll address this condition. Good communication with propert mang. We'd all recommend staying here for a really great housing experience.

Excellent Location

My Mom and Brother -in-Law enjoyed sitting on front porch and watching the fishermen and the waves rolling in. Short walk to the beach and beautiful scenery.

Nice spot to get away from the urban life

The house is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. The house sways quite a bit which gave me a slight motion sickness. This was my first time staying in a house resting on stilts/pillars. Overall we it was a nice visit.

April 2021 Stay

Great house and very clean. Was across from dump trucks and closed beach access though. TV in living room was mounted too high and difficult to navigate through the channels and watch actual TV. Was also disappointed the house did not provide any restaurant/food delivery information.

Much needed family vacation

We have not seen much of our family since 2019 and this was much needed. We had more than enough rooms and bathrooms for everyone to enjoy and stay comfortably. The house was clean and in a great location. Definitely would rent it again and would definitely recommend this spot for a family!!

Nice home in a quiet community

The home was overall quite clean with the exception of the carpet on the stairs. It was very spacious with lots of nice decks where one could see the beach. The management was very helpful when our key-less lock was not working well. The beaches were not crowded at all, which was especially great during Covid.

I tried contacting VRBO about the inaccurate listing. There is no pool. This home is through ward reality. Had to work with the reality company to find a different house. Overall was a very frustrating experience
