"Beautiful cabin in a quiet neighborhood of this cute little town. It was easy to get around to places like Cloudland Canyon, DeSoto state park, Little River Canyon, etc. The cabin was comfy and worked well for us with the 2 1/2 baths. The beds were comfortable. I slept well every night of our stay. We especially loved using the fireplace on the screened in back porch. Be aware that the Mentone restaurants are generally open on the weekends. But you can always take a short drive to Ft Payne or other nearby towns for evening meals. You can also count on the Mentone Market for ready made sandwiches, salads, and fresh made pizza. It was a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. "

You basically only need to bring your personal belongings and the food. Everything else is there. My husband and I enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend and will definitely be back. "
