"One of the best hotel we did in Japan, if it’s not the best. The design is really peaceful, lot of light wood and the fact we removed our shoes at the entrance of the hotel feels you are at home. Onsens are really nice and the breakfast was yummy. I really recommend it!"

The rooms are small and simple, but the main perks are the onsen, sauna and massage chairs! "Only one place I could stay in this south suburb of Matsue, which is closer to my destination of visit. It's cheap so no fridge, no microwave, which made a little difficult for my 5 night stay."

"とても良い場所にあり、出雲大社へは、徒歩で行けます。スタッフの方々の対応もとても良かったです。
ただ、周辺の食事場所が17時ぐらいに閉店するので、徒歩で晩御飯を食べるところがなかったです。宿泊先のレストランでも用意できないとのことでしたので、困りました。部屋は静かで良い空間でしたが、たびたび蜘蛛がでてきたのと、部屋のすみに蜘蛛の巣が結構ありました。布団の上にも虫がいました。古民家ではしかたないことかもしれませんが。
Wi-Fiはありましたが、部屋にテレビがないので、老夫婦等の宿泊には向いていないような気がします。
