「Four-star it is not. Have stayed here many times before but won't be staying here again uless there is a dramatic improvement. Would have hoped, having re-opened after a long closure to paying guests, that basic decor would have been refreshed and standards maintained. Instead, tired decor, worn carpets, a musty smell in corridors, and an expectation of DIY - rooms not cleaned unless requested, no hotel information in room, no water or even glasses in room... 「Stay was fine, it was really loud outside and in. My room had some sort of pump or generator that would turn on every 10/15mins which woke me up a few times」

「Very noisy because of the pub below so until 23:00 loud then from 05:00 in the morning music starts again and people singing so if you want to party I guess it’s the right place but if you want to rest get yourself a proper hotel room, me personally I wouldn’t go back 」

「The rooms overall were very clean except for the carpet which was nasty looking. The hallways outside of the room were not very appealing nor was the building itself. Mostly the staff made up for this.」

「Really nice place with relaxed vibe. Room serviced to a high standard and very comfortable for out 5 night stay. Breakfast was chill and continental both in size and scope. Will be back」

「Hotel was fine Hard to find car park and spaces are tiny. Also as you haven’t booked in you can’t get from car park to reception The booking states breakfast included but when you come down it’s only for one person what on earth. Getting out of the car park is even worse As they were busy with breakfast we had to ring external bell (through gate) as inside wasn’t working When it eventually moved it almost severed my wife’s arm Loads of better places in the area」
