「We really enjoyed our stay, the wood fired hot tub worked surprisingly well and was quite quick, the kitchen was well stocked with pots pans utensils etc. There was a dehumidifier to control the moisture and it really helped dry our swimwear. The adirondack chairs in the morning sun were great for breakfast and the internet was very fast. Bathroom was bit small for two tall people but c'est la vie, the shower was surprisingly great 👍」

「We gas the first morning had till 11 am to have a hot drink. When hot water is on the boiler is very noisy. The bathroom was too narrow and the towel hooks stcking out did not help. The oven did not smell right when lit and we did not use it. 」

「Hidden gem is just that a hidden gem, it's location is easily walkable to the shops, restaurants, pub, the beach and much more. It's quiet enough with maybe a little noise from passing traffic, it's compact but comes with enough space for what you need and I couldn't have asked for a better host, communication was brilliant and she was happy to help with any issues I may have had. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near the seaside.」

「The stay at Balmoral was exactly what we needed. Clean and good facilities with a superb breakfast spread laid on and clear instructions throughout. Unfortunately we were doing a huge bike ride early on the Saturday morning and couldn’t take advantage of all of the food provided. The checking in and checking out process for us was ideal given our late arrival and early check out and took a lot of anxiety away from the whole ordeal. I would definitely stay here again if we were doing the ride...
