"Great restful stay in Oban, beautiful wee town. Hotel overlooks ferry terminal which was cool to watch but can make a bit of noise but that didn’t bother us. Parking is across the road from hotel, easy to find. Hotel has no lift but we were assisted with our suitcases up to top floor by one of the newest staff member who was a lovely friendly chatty person. Didn’t use the continental breakfast so can’t comment but had drink in the bar which was nice. Hotel bit dated and could do with freshening...

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The hotel staff were very accommodating when I asked for wakeup calls & to increase the heat in my room. I used the pool & steam room & this is a plus. The hotel is a bit further away from the train station, but is closer to the Dunollie Castle!"

"They were accommodating to our family size and the included breakfast was excellent. Parking was odd with the only available parking at time across the street and felt unsure, but all worked out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. "

"Front desk went out of there way to make sure we had a room to stay in without us being able to communicate with them for a late check-in. We arrived at 11:45pm. Fortunately they had emailed us info on the room and location of key for it. We had a great sleep. "

"Very, nice quaint hotel, wonderful restaurant and service. A real experience of Scottish hospitality with spectacular views. only downside no elevator to help get bags up the stairs but not a real issue. "

"Clean, comfortable hotel close to the railway station and town centre. I had a small room and the hotel were honest and said it was probably best suited to solo travellers or short stays. The room was big enough but the bathroom was tiny. Fine for solo travellers though. Very clean and comfortable. "

"The manager and chef were phenomenal! Book dinner reservations far in advance. Best breakfast in Scotland! The rooms are each unique and lovely. Can't recommend it enough. If you're in Oban, stay here."
