"Discrepancies between listing on VRBO and actual accommodations: refrigerator and microwave were in a common area, NOT in the room, as listed. It was difficult to find the switch for the gas fireplace which was the only heat in the room and it was very cold, window open, when we arrived late in the evening (host was notified of late arrival.) The phones in the room did not work to call the front desk; I had to use my cell phone to reach them. Also, bed was hard; I realize this is a matter of preference but a softer bed would have been preferred. The room was clean and the view was fantastic."

"Quaint inn with comfortable rooms in 3 buildings. The 2-story blue building has a 19thc fisherman village vibe. The photo is deceptive- it looks like you have the whole main floor- the living room and the bedroom. The listing is only the bedroom. It’s a less expensive room without a view that is only steps away. Not large room but tall ceiling. Great bed with great pillows- soft mattress which I prefer. Nice little gas fireplace. Big accessible bathroom with walk-in shower. Tall windows that could use different window treatments to block lower parts while letting in light at upper parts otherwise people can see in from the driveway and front yard. .There is a common separate eating space with a shared fridge and microwave but the kitchen is not available to guests. Quiet street though there is traffic noise in the mornings. There is a nice common deck area that overlooks the estuary and nice yard space though there’s no sun shades over pergolas. Beautiful place for sunsets and bird watching. A six minute walk to the docks for whale watching cruises— Sanctuary Cruises is the best!"
