Shallow turquoise waters surround this car-free island where whale sharks visit from June through September. Rent a golf cart to explore colorful murals before swinging in hammocks that dip right into the gentle waves at sunset.
If I could give this hotel 10, I would. When I was doing my research on where to stay in Holbox, I didn’t want be near the action or noise of el centro. I really did want that ‘eco-hotel’ vibe. Casa Noma was absolutely exceptional!!! I didn’t know at the time but my husband called in advance to tell them it was my birthday and they had a nice bottle of bubbles with some snacks and a happy birthday sign arranged in the room. Very sweet and a lovely surprise!

There are so many things that make this hotel fantastic, it's hard to know where to start. The most important item to me was cleanliness and this hotel aces that factor. The facility is small, quiet and quaint. The breakfast is divine and the views from the rooftop eating area are beautiful and relaxing. To really enjoy relaxation time, there are several locations with hammocks and hanging chairs that create cozy spaces of rest. We are empty nesters and this was a perfect hotel and location. It...

This property is so beautiful! The rooms are well equipped and the pool is nice and relaxing. The location is fantastic, it’s a 5 min walk to the beach, town center and many bars/restaurants. They can book your shuttle from the airport as well, at a great fee. I will definitely be choosing this boutique hotel for all of my future visits to Holbox.

Our trip in Holbox was on Nov 2024. We booked one of the treehouse cottage.
Pros:
First— staff are amazing, super helpful, and very welcoming.
2nd—the resort is top notch. Quiet. It gives that “jungle” type vibe. If you are all about connecting with nature, this is the perfect place to be.
3rd—the way the resort was located, it’s still walkable to their downtown area.
Con:
November- so many mosquitoes. I didn’t get to enjoy the lounge over the roof because I became the buffet. BRING bug...

The property was well maintained and the pool area was very unique and enjoyable to swim in. The location was very close to the central market and restaurants, however the street in front didn’t cal down in noise till later in the evening and then all was calm and quiet. The breakfast was presented as though it was from a Waldorf’s chef.

My stay here was wonderful! The staff was so helpful. It’s located about 2 blocks from the beach. They have a night guard all night so I felt very safe coming back late. My only issue was that I was not charged when I booked. The receptionist explained that Expedia customers have to pay upon arrival. I booked months ago so I’d forgotten. When I go to pay, their exchange rate is $15 pesos when the exchange rate was going for $20 pesos. I will be prepared next time. Other than that, wonderful...

The exterior hotel design is gorgeous, as you can see from the pictures. The interiors are super cozy, streamlined, clean, and beautiful. The wonderful family who run the hotel are very warm, welcoming, and friendly. Really lovely people. Everything was thoughtful, comfortable, stylish, food and drinks delicious, with excellent hospitality and service. Couldn't have asked for a better time!

Lovely boutique hotel to escape from it all. We enjoyed our first trip to Holbox. I do wish the hotel offered a happy hour or had a small hotel bar for guests. Alberto is a wonderful host and ensures your stay is perfect.
