Aug 28, 2019be sure to bring warm jacket as the temperature can vary dramatically at top of volcano. also, avoid going on cloudy day as crater will not be visible.

Mar 12, 2019is a four hours drive that come with a nice scenery view of the valle of the country site, /would recommend it. San Carlos, La fortuna is a most to visit.

Mar 9, 2019See the park but spend your time walking in Bosques de Prusia park below the summit. Great hiking and a nice picnic area high enough that it is always cool.

Feb 23, 2019Bring a jacket! You can drive all the way to the top of the volcano, but it can be quite cold and breezy up there. If the weather cooperates, there are beautiful views, and it's eery looking down into the volcano's crater.
