「Stayed there 1 night, Sept 30. The hotel is 250 years old. But is updated and lovely! Super charming, clean and comfy. Our room has 2 twin beds. It was a bit small but we didn’t plan to stay in it long.
There were cookies and tea in the rooms
Loved the nightlight in the bathroom! Very helpful.
Only challenges are the parking, It’s at a premium, and all rooms are up stairs so if you have mobility challenges. This hotel is not for you」
「Lovely large room with great views. Bathroom had easy to use plumbing. The host was wonderful. The tv had streaming! The breakfast was delicious. It was our favorite stay in Scotland.」
「Delux room with Loch views was amazing. Comfortable bed and linens. Well kept furnishings. Enjoyed the window facing chairs for hours of counting waves. Very walkable to town. I was without a car. Flat walk to shops and restaurants.」
「The staff was friendly and the food at the in-house restaurant was very good. The condition of the room was good enough and clean, but everything from the doors, bed, bathroom and more was incredibly old and left some to be desired in terms of upkeep. I felt the pictures of the rooms online were rather deceiving. The location of the property though was fantastic with beautiful views.」
