"It was a fine stay. The room was cool with the projector for viewing and we loved the souvenir machine. We slept comfortably and the hotel was quiet. The room was fairly clean and water pressure was great for the shower. Free bottles of water in the room was nice as well. However the cafe closed early, the ice cream machine wasn't working and the rooftop bar was closed. The property had dust bunnies throughout and staff was sparse which made it feel a bit like a ghost town. "

I have been attracting by Setouchi Shimanami Kaito bike touring for a long time through Taiwanese cycling enthusiasts. At age 75, my wife thinks I am crazy. This place was perfect for our multi-family group coming through for the Shimanami Kaido. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed even slippers. It was a beautiful authentic Japanese space with all the modern amenities. There’s not a lot around but Family Mart is about a 5 min bike ride away. We ordered breakfast through this stay with Wakka which was about a less than min bike ride away. I would definitely recommend this place - a great value stay.

This was the middle hotel on our 75 km Shimanami bike ride and we arrived very hot and tired. The room was not ready for us, but the staff happily took our bags so we could enjoy the town while the room was being prepared.
