In central France, Ile-de-France stands out for its dedication to art, history and culture. This is the very heart of France, a place where famous writers and artists gathered to be inspired by the beauty of life. Wander down busy city streets, see world-famous artworks in person and observe the world go by from sidewalk terraces.
Ile-de-France is the most densely populated French region and is the French hub for business and industry. It is also one of the most popular tourist destinations, which gives it a distinctly international sensibility. Get acquainted with the French capital, Paris, which is not only the bustling hub of the entire country but is also the starting point for the latest global fashion, culinary and cultural trends.
There is an endless supply of things to see and do in Paris. Climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower and marvel at the “City of Lights” by night. Stroll across the Pont Neuf bridge and window-shop on Champs d’Elysses. Study the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, an art museum often touted as being the best in the world. If hunger strikes, duck into a café for coffee and a croque-monsieur (a toasted ham and cheese sandwich).
To the southwest of Paris is Versailles, a suburb that once served as the political capital. Grand chandeliers hang in the halls of the Palace of Versailles, Louis XIV’s opulent royal complex. International tourists flock to Seine-et-Marne every year to be entertained at Disneyland Paris. If you prefer natural activities, embark on a walk through the Fontainebleau forest or journey through the Grand Morin valley.
Two international airports serve Ile-de-France: Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport. Buses and regional train networks can get you to central Paris from both airports. Explore the surrounding areas such as Melun, Meaux or Cergy by renting a car. Ile-de-France enjoys a moderate climate year round with particularly pleasant temperatures in the autumn and spring.
Fall in love with the historic museums in Paris, the extravagance of Versailles and the oft-overlooked natural delights of Ile-de-France.
Easy to access as well as very comfortable, modern and clean. Staff were excellent - really helpful and friendly. Lots of great food options so didn't need to leave the hotel. Would definitely recommend.
Perfect location to terminal 2. Good restaurants. Good price
Excellent hotel for location and price. The room has everything you need and everything is brand new so really nice. USB charger ports/Wireless Charging next to the bed. One thing to improve would be the breakfast, they need more staff working in there.
The rooms, pool area and outdoor playing areas were clean however the breakfast hall crockery, cutlery, tables & trays were disgusting. Bits of food stuck onto pretty much every "clean" bowl. Tables "washed down" with a wet tea towel which had probably been used on countless tables without a clean. ...
Breakfast buffet could have been a bit better and a more variety of options
Perfectly fine for trip to Disneyland, rooms clean, good shower etc. Small double bed to two adults, fortunately just had one child with us so able to use the pull out bed so we could all sleep, wouldn’t fancy room for a family of 4 as it is intended
The only place to stay at when visiting Disney with small kids. Walking distance to the park.
