It's located right in the centre of the village and parking at the premises was never a problem. The landlord and landlady are a lovely couple and their staff are very pleasant and welcoming. "Booked a 3 night stay here, as looking for somewhere close to our visit to Port Lympne Safari Park. Friendly, welcoming staff on arrival, couldn't have been more helpful. Had a drink in the garden on arrival, nice little sun trap. Room was very spacious and clean, even had a fridge and microwave which we wasn't expecting. Fridge was a blessing in the hot weather to keep cold drinks in. Bathroom also spacoius and very clean and the shower was really good too. Welcome tray good little selection...

"This is a property from the 1800's so this should give you an idea of what to expect. Lots of grand original features and very traditional. My room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The hosts were an absolute joy to be around and provided great company and conversation. Breakfast was delicious and set me up nicely for the day. I would recommend without hesitation and I look forward to staying again. "

"Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "
