「We just spent three nights at Hotel La Colina in Gijon, Spain. I have to say it’s been the highlight of our European trip. The location is secluded outside of town, but you can get into town in 10 minutes. We ate breakfast in the cafeteria every morning and the food and service were wonderful. The rooms were great, the views are fantastic, along with the hiking paths and best of all the staff were some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our trip. Highly recommended, and we will be back.」

「The hotel and our room were clean, and the staff were attentive. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms were well soundproofed. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the train and bus station, and roughly three blocks from the park. The old town is around a 15-minute walk away. We stayed for five nights, and our only wish was that the hotel had a gym—even a small one, so we wouldn’t have had to pay a daily rate at the gym next door.」

「Mini fridge stocked. Clean room. Staff are nice - would be good if all staff were also fluent in English, especially housekeeping staff. There’s a department store down the road. Wish the continental breakfast had more variety for folks that are not from Spain, but the food was ok. The hotel is clean, well-taken care of and comfortable for the price. I enjoyed my relaxing stay. 」
