「Lovely new hotel. Will definitely be adding it to my list of favorites」

「The place looks and feels like a rooming house. You climb up steep stairs on dinghy carpet to your room. Once in the room you kept thinking you are on a tilt. For the price I’m sure there are much better alternatives out there. I would not recommend this place unless you are desperate for accommodation.」

「This is a beautiful property! So peaceful and serene. The staff was very nice at check in and restaurant staff were excellent as well. The food was superb. We had a very spacious room overlooking the River which was wonderful too. We will definitely book there again!」

「Amazing value newly renov」

「The first thing I check in any hotel/BNB are the bathrooms. This itself will set the tone; a standard I've created for myself :'). The bathroom was emmaculate. Room was very well maintained. Free breakfast, which had a great spread. Staff were very kind, as well. Would definitely be coming back if Goderich pops up on the future roadmap.」

「Kim and the Chepstow in were amazing. She greeted us with a friendly smile and gave us all the information we requested about the area around the Inn and interesting sites to visit. She prepared an amazing breakfast for us and had it ready at the time we asked. All around an amazing B&B and Kim made the experience something I would recommend to anyone!」

「Great place to stay in central downtown Goderich! Excellent location within walking distance to the local museums and restaurants. Clean room with TV, microwave, and queen bed. A little snug, but perfect for a one night stay. We had dinner at the restaurant underneath, and the staff were all friendly and attentive. Food was decent, and the drinks were good. Will stay here again if back in Goderich!」

「Really enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms are, the little kitchen. It’s a great addition and they have games and cooking supplies and anything that you would need to borrow downstairs. The pool was great. We had a lot of fun.」

「The room was nice and clean. The strange thing was there was no staff to meet us when we arrived. Instead, there was a sign to call a phone number and the owners in the next house came over to show us to our rooms then left us. We were the only people in the building until we called again for breakfast the next morning when he came over again to make it. There is no pub as the pictures would suggest. This is a 6 room b&b with owners next door situation not a hotel/motel.」

「Pro's - lovely front desk staff, nice clean entrance, ample parking, close to shopping and downtown. Spacious room. Con's - The room we were given (#234) smelled like someone had cooked stinky fish; there were greasy finger prints on the kitchenette cupboards and the inside handle on the door. 3/5 for cleanliness of room overall. Uncomfortable bed, for us at least. It was too soft. Sloppy contractor work done with the painting - paint splatters on the tiled floor, on the bathtub and counters....
