「House was fantastic! It was well stocked with appliances and utensils and everything was high end including bedding. We loved it! Decks and outside seating were extremely comfortable. The main living area was on first floor. Master and 2 other bedrooms were only 5 steps up from the main floor and the 4th bedroom was up from there, but it had a private deck. Highly recommend!」

「Can not speak enough kind words of this home and property. It was so perfect for our large family for this years annual trip to the hill country. The home was well stocked and beds were extremely comfortable. Outside area, especially the pool, were used for most of the day. Also spent lots of time in the river paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing! An absolute playground for all ages. Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family! We hope to return again next year and for many to come.」

「So the house is beautifully furnished, the decor is very nice. My family said it's a nice 70s style house with a touch of modern, and the appliances work very well. There are no laundry appliances. River access in the back yard, is good, over grown with lily pads. But still very nice and great vacation spot.」

「We’ve been going to Double Dog cabins for 7 or 8 years now. We love how peaceful the place is. It’s like a little piece of heaven just for you to enjoy. 「We've stayed here twice. It's the ultimate spot for seclusion but it's just right down the road from Leakey, Lost Maples SP, Utopia and Garner SP. The drive from Vanderpool to Leakey is next level. The cabin is cozy with an awesome fireplace and comfortable beds. It's definitely our go-to spot if we want to be near Garner or Lost Maples. We will be back. 」

「My wife and I (and our two dogs) truly loved our stay here. The house was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. My dogs absolutely loved running around the yard while we sat on the front porch listening to the hummingbirds buzz around. We also both agreed that the pictures don't do the location justice, it is a beautiful property in a beautiful part of Texas. We hope to make it back here again in the future. 」

「We liked that the house wasn’t directly near other properties. You could hear a neighbor in the distance periodically but the house itself was secluded. My family enjoyed all the birdhouses around the house and particularly the many hummingbirds. River access was nice. We saw one other group about 50 yards down the river on the first day of arrival but after that, we had it to ourselves. The access to the house and river was steep but we walked it many times with no issues or took a vehicle...
