"Great staff but starting to need a refurb to maintain twin standards."

"No evening meal due to chef needing time off, staff seemed to have no idea what was happening. Only food available in the area was pizza at a hostel across the road. Breakfast room opened at 8:30 and consisted of help yourself Coco pops, croissants or toast, if you had an early start, nothing. Overall a very poor experience."

"This is a fantastic hotel. Everything about it is brilliant. The staff are amazing and the food is great. The location is ideally suited for a road trip or longer stay to visit the city centre. I have stayed here before and will again."

"Lovely location and great beer garden. Beds were comfortable and clean. The main issue in the bedroom was the very low water pressure in the shower making it almost impossible to have a decent shower. The other issue was the slow service in the restaurant. It was busy when we first arrived so that was fair enough but even when it died down it was still very slow and we could see our drinks waiting at the bar but no one to bring them over until we asked. And breakfast again the service was slow,...
