"The hotel is ok for a stopover. Decor and upkeep needs some tlc. Breakfast ok. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to the city centre. National express stops outside. Basic English breakfast buffet of the usual. A choice of eggs would be good. In general not bad value of the stay. "

"Room was clean and towels were generous. Central heat was out, though staff brought a space heater. Lift was out and there was no plug for the sink. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not worth any money. Go up the street to the cafe Nero "

"Room very clean and good facilities. Great coffee machine. Superb shower, albeit bathroom quite compact. Bed and sheets superb. Some outside noise. Parking very disappointing as £32 per night approx 300yds away. Makes the stay a little pricey. Spa area superb, although had to pay an extra £10 for this as didn't book directly with hotel which is also dissapointing. "
