My husband and I stayed at this lovely garage apartment for our anniversary weekend and found the entire experience really charming and enjoyable. It’s in a great neighborhood— lots of great cafes and shops within walking distance and an upscale HEB practically in the backyard. It was peaceful and quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable. Our host who lives in the beautiful house in front was very welcoming and thoughtful in furnishing the apartment with all kinds of amenities. We would definitely stay again!

2 night stay for Concert

The Room was centrally located, easy acess, Host was very helpful and kind. Would recommend staying there... and when i return in the future, I will definitely check with this host first thing for availability.

Excellent facility

This was a perfect set up: compact with everything I needed, great wifi, comfy bed, decent TV, and a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The ability to have the use of a secure carpark was a real bonus.

When we arrived no ac and were woke up at 7:30 am and told to stay gone until 1pm or 2 so they could fix ac guy was nice but room wasn’t up to standards

Great Location in the Heights

From the posting, we were under the impression this was a one bedroom apartment but it is actually a studio. None the less it was the perfect size for a couple and was equipped and stocked with coffee, shampoo, soap and laundry detergent for our use. The fact that we also had the use of a secure garage for our vehicle was an added bonus. It is located in a great area with restaurants and a grocery within walking distance. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for accomodations in the Houston Heights area

Gracious host and amazing location!

We had an awesome stay at Leonard’s studio. The neighborhood was walkable with coffee shops, grocery stores, and restaurants all a block or two away. The apartment was well equipped with shampoo/ conditioner, charging ports, and even a clothing steamer that Leonard graciously got for us. What blew us away was Leonard’s generosity, hospitality, and warmth. He gave us local tips to ensure we had a lovely stay, checked up on us to make sure we were comfortable, and let us store our luggage so we could explore the neighborhood further after our stay. Thank you so much Leonard - we hope to be back again soon!

Great Place

Leonard was a great host. He was very helpful. Garage parking was great considering it snowed during our stay. Leonard was also very helpful with a few small issues and brought us an electric blanket during the cold snap. I would highly recommend his place and will be reserving his place in the future.

Convenient to stores, restaurants and The Heights

Amazing location-walkable to restaurants and groceries

Incredibly well stocked above garage apartment with a friendly and accommodating host in a really nice neighborhood. All of my needs were covered and then some. Absolutely will be looking for it when I'm coming back into Houston

Efficient studio apartment

Simple basic studio, good bed, pillows, towels. Good washer and dryer. Too many coffee makers. Great location. Gracious host.

Great stay

Great large studio that feels homey immediately. Bed is a nice medium firm mattress. I didn’t really use the kitchen but there was a portable burner and pots and pans. Laundry also available. The neighborhood is very family oriented and it’s across the street from a school. The studio is located above a detached garage, so you can hear when the garage door opens but that doesn’t really bother me. Overall great quick trip and would stay again.

Garage apartment

This was our 2nd time staying in Leonard’s garage apartment, and once again, we were very satisfied. Access to offstreet parking, washer/dryer, convenience to grocery and restaurants, as well as a very comfortable bed and large living space are among the reasons we will stay here again. Also, the location is in a quiet walkable residential area.

Garage Apartment

The apartment was larger than expected. The bed was very comfortable and AC worked well. Easy parking in attached garage. Appliances were perfect for our needs: refrigerator, microwave and hot plate. We would stay there again.
