"Excellent value for money stay. Literally steps from the castle and on main route to monastery. As a result road past is busy during the day with pedestrians but really quiet at night. Yes it is uphill when coming back from old town which must be taken into account if mobility issues feature but as alternative get bus/tram to top of castle and walk down! Food at breakfast was good although a little cramped at busy times and the restaurant also provided good food (separate ownership in evening?). In su,,ary we really enjoyed our stay here and would return."

"One person at the front desk on night shift was very helpful when I needed to booked one extra night for my sister(at 4am) who already checked out but her flight was cancelled. Another guy on night shift was a bit blunt when we asked for bottled water. The hotel doesn’t give you bottled water daily (we stayed 4nights) like most hotels do. Food at breakfast is good. Lots of choices. Good location."

"This was a fabulous hotel. Such character and awesome amenities. The staff were terrific and so professional. Great location for wandering the sites. Beautiful breakfast . Really enjoyed the spa. The most comfortable beds. Loved our 4 nights here."
