Casa Tres Picos in Porto Pim, Horta

A lovingly restored fisherman’s home located off the old cobbled coastal road in Porta Pim, Casa Três Picos offers self catered accommodation with stunning views of the three mountains Monte Queimado, Monte da Guia and the infamous Montanha do Pico. The house has 2 bedrooms downstairs and 1 large bedroom/entertainment room upstairs. There is also a large open plan living and dining area downstairs and fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is a large courtyard, garden and bbq area.

The house was built in 1918 and was made famous on the island by featuring in the 2015 film Cinzento e Negro. It has since been turned into tourist accommodation and was newly renovated in the of 2020.

Casa Tres Picos is an amazing home…we didn’t want to leave! It is very comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated with amazing views! The location is in a quieter part of town but easily walkable to the marina. The manager, Filipa, was great as well…she answered all our questions and gave great recommendations.
