I went there and loved it. I swam in the beautiful blue water there. The locals told me it's the most popular beach on that island country. The restaurant service there was great. It was well worth my visit to that beach.
Go to the far end from the main entrance, not as crowded, and some nice quite areas.

Get there after 3:30 PM when all the cruise peeps leave to get back to the boat.
Horseshoe Bay can be spectacular but was overcrowded with bus loads of 'cruisers' off the cruise ships at Kings Wharf. I saw literally wall-to-wall people. No way to enjoy a beach.
