「Lovely room with a very comfortable bed. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The room was in a great location in the town. Only downside was that there was no hot water in the shower, so we had to have cold showers. Fortunately the weather was hot, so a cold shower was not unbearable. But it was a bit of a shock to the system for me, being an old lady.」

「The hotel is great value for money. The breakfast and restaurant food first class. All of our party of five staying guests would return again.」

「The room we had was fairly run down. In particular it had a strong and unpleasant odour. At first we thought having the windows open would help. But part way through the night the smell was so terrible we were awake. In the morning we realised it must have been mildew and mold. Some of the glass window pains had black mould, not only around the edges but in the middle of the glass. We left pretty early because we couldn't be in the room anymore. 「このホテルの建物はかはり古く、歴史的な意味があるのだと思いますが、メインテナンスが適切になされているとは言えないと思います。床にはデコボコがかなりあり、バスルームの床はビニールコーティングされていましたが、大きなヒビか1箇所以上ありました。バスタブも全体的に水垢がある状態でしたし、バスタブの蛇口からバスタブの底にかけて水漏れの跡なのか、何なのかわかりませんが、青いシミ？カビ？が枯れた滝の跡のようにバスタブにこびりついていました。窓の外も建物のバックヤードのようなひどい景色でしたので、外が明るくてもカーテンを閉めていました。 フロント担当の若い男性が親切で、チェックインとチェックアウト時に重い荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくださったのが救いでした。 宿泊施設にはもう少し清潔感があるべきだと思いますので、あまりおすすめできる施設とは言えないとます。」

「What a great find in Knighton, Tom was a great host and even offered to wash our clothes for us,we had everything we needed for are one night stay 10 out of 10 from us and great value.」

「Seriously unimpressed by the lack of help and assistance from the host to cancel, with nearly a weeks notice prior to our intended stay. We also found that some of the information provided on the property listing at the time of booking to be somewhat questionable, suggesting a cabin size of 215 sq ft and containing a bathroom, which we now understand relates to facilities in a separate building on the property. We will not be booking again.」

「シュルーズベリーの中心地から１５分位の、かなり不便は場所にありますが、レンタカーで行くなら、絶対オススメです。雰囲気のある歴史ある館と庭。レストランでゆっくり夕食、朝食を頂くと、心が休まります。スタッフの気遣いもよく、快適に過ごせました。もちろん昔の建物なので、床がすこし傾いていたり、冷蔵庫、金庫などはありませんが、雰囲気のあるインテリアとサービスで満足度が高くなります。」
