朝食美味しかった 部屋の広さも十分でした

これまでにも数回このホテルを利用しており、今回が3回目か4回目の利用となるが、スタッフの顔ぶれはいくらか変わっているものの今までと同様に愛想よくいろいろと助けてくれる。部屋は広くはなく、また設備も古いが、自分の滞在目的（アムステルダム市内の大学での学会参加や別の都市の大学訪問）からすると不満は無し。宿泊料は別の都市と比べると高いと思われるかもしれないが、アムステルダムの状況を見渡すと不当に高い設定とは思われない。広い部屋でゆったり滞在したいという人や新しい施設を希望の人、ホテル内にレストランやランドリー設備などを望む人には向かないかもしれないが、あまり高くない宿泊料でベッドとシャワーとトイレに問題がなければOK、という人には勧められる。なお、これまでにいくつかの部屋に泊まったが、いずれもベッドは寝心地がよく、シャワーの水圧や温度調整に困るとか、トイレが流れないなどの不具合は無い。強いて欠点を挙げるとすると、エントランス前の通りは観光客が多く夜中まで少し騒がしいことがあるくらい。

Lovely place to stay and cheap.

Sebastian at the reception was very caring and tried his best to solve our problems. People in the same situation should be aware of this, but we are very grateful to him. We came by car. There is a street parking system near the hotel, but it is quite expensive. Sebastian looked up a cheaper parking option for us. It was about 10 minutes away from the hotel by public transport, but he kindly explained in detail how to get back. There are a few steps at the entrance of the hotel, and the room we booked had no elevator, so we had to use the stairs. It was hard with a baby, a stroller, and two suitcases. However, Sebastian helped us every time, and he even checked with their sister hotel to see if there was a room with an elevator available. We were not used to European hotel conditions and had not researched enough beforehand. Even so, we truly appreciated Sebastian’s kind and humorous support
