"The check in and check out was super quick…much quicker than I had imagined standing in a line. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They made the experience so much better. The location was great because it was within walking distance of all the shops I wanted to go to and when I had to Uber it wasn’t as expensive as I had prepared for it to be. Ooh and their breakfast every day was great. I ate so much it kept me full, so I would just have snack for lunch. Saved me a lot of money. Also conveniently across the street was ABC too…if ya know ya know Lol. I loved my stay. Thank you Holiday Inn staff."

"the place is crowded!!!!! Not really the honeymoon spot it might have been once. Now it caters to families, big family reunions, office vacations. Limited beach. There is an adult pool---but really for hanging out not for doing laps. They really need to get more beach umbrellas. I really can't figure out why they are so stingey when you pay a resort fee. The Kaiulani has beach umbrellas at the poolside, why not waikiki? Strange. Looks weird from above. 4 beach umbrellas here and there with no reason for their location. If you get a lounge chair (get to the pool by 9 AM), be aware that by 11:30 AM, the hot sun will no longer be hidden by the building. Now the good stuff: Look out at the pacific, turn left and see Diamond Head. Ahhh.. this is why you came to Sheraton Waikiki. Clean room, safe area."

Best Western The Plaza Hotel Honolulu Airport - Free Breakfast

"Close to the airport, but the shuttle runs only once an hour at the top of the hour. Not much around it, but a McDonalds. Breakfast fair, rooms are large and clean. Part of the hotel is upstairs in a building without an elevator, so hope you have minimal luggage or do not get that building. But a nice comfortable room. Parking is expensive."

8/10 Good

"We had a great view from our oceanfront view room. Everything was great except the room carpets. They seemed old and wet(?) most of the time. Maybe it my be due to the moisture. Usually, I would not really mind walking on hotel carpets, but I used the provided slippers while we stayed. The poolside amenities were excellent and the staff were very helpful and kind."
