"Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to extend an upgrade as well as complimentary wine. I would return again to stay. Hopefully the hotel keeps good maintenance as it is more aged as I expected."

"Adequate option for a 3 or 4 night visit to Hong Kong. Hotel itself was okay, room a little on the smaller side, facilities lovely. We travelled by train from the airport which wasn’t too much of a drama. I did note the hotel suggests they have a shuttle service but my experience was this is not the case. Staff were polite and helpful. Would stay here again."

"Service was generally very good, breakfasts very comprehensive and rooms good too. Small improvements could be made to a faster check-in; the toilet seat was very hard, poorly fitted and very narrow. There was no 3rd bed in our room. The egg chef on the first day cooked my poached eggs to hard boiled and was not very friendly. We could not get peppermint tea on a number of occasions despite requesting them."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the Lan Kwai Fong Hotel. I had asked, and paid for an upgarde although the lady at the front desk said she had already upgraded me, but i felt the room I had booked was going to be too small. The location is good and bad: it is in the middle of the Sheung Wan district in Hong Kong, in a very crowded area with a lot of construction. "2nd time in this hotel, but the bathroom most area already mold , bed is still In good condition , bathroom need deep clean or re paint "

"Island Shangri-la has great access to public transportation if you want to explorer Hong Kong. They are located by 2 malls so shopping and dining isn’t an issue. Summer Place was great and has a Michelin Star to prove it. Sarah Wong was wonderful when there was an issue with the blinds. She helped us move to a different room. I highly recommend Island Shangri-La"
