"This is a really lovely hotel perfectly situated near the centre of Alnwick. It has a a really relaxing atmosphere and the staff are brilliant. Wander a short distance out into the centre of Alnwick to browse round the multitude of artisan shops and stop for a drink in one of the welcoming pubs. Return for an excellent meal followed by a nightcap in the cozy bar. The only minor downside is the number of steps from the car park to reception although luggage can be dropped off at reception before parking your car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"We stayed at Hillcrest for 2 nights. Room was large and described as having a sea view, which was true provided you craned your neck to look between the houses. Good cooked to order breakfast provided and the host was very friendly."

"Lovely place to stay with amazing spacious rooms. The cabins are amazing and the view of the pond and the bath Spa was amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant staff were amazing."
