Brilliant stay

Comfy room, staff friendly and helpful , the food was excellent. We stayed 2 nights the only thing was you had a cooked breakfast on a sunday but continental on a monday. The room didnot have house keeping but to be fair it is only making the bed .

Warm and welcoming hotel...excellent!

A fabulous hotel. We had a very warm welcome and the owners couldnt do enough to accommodate us. The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable. Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Neil and Heather

A charming little community pub with great food and brilliant Gluten Free options. Comfortable room with all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. Close to Sheringham and an easy drive to many other local towns. Would recommend

Great room and nice staff breakfast was good evening meal was late and not that great chips soggy lasagne was just a lump of stodge the starters we can recommend very good it systems useless would be better off with them the phone menu is utterly point less as it all goes the the same place left hand dose not know what the right hand is doing one manager only needed and they need to manage

Amazing stay

From check in to check out our visit was faultless. Our room was spacious and well equipped,it was spotlessly clean and all decor was of a high standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful,we unfortunately only got the name of one staff member and that was Teresa who was very attentive and gave us tips as to where to visit.The restaurant was extremely busy and food took quite a while to arrive but this really wasn't a problem as the atmosphere was lovely and we were offered drinks at our table. Breakfast was amazing,hot and tasty. We would normally stay in a hotel rather than an Inn or pub but am so pleased we took the plunge and tried something a little different.Well fine to all involved both fronts of house and behind the scenes....don't change anything...we will definitely be seeing you again

Our stay at the Wheatsheaf

We have had a lovely stay at the Wheatsheaf. The room was perfectly located and equiped with everything we needed. Although, it was cold when we first arrived it soon warmed up. The toilet/water system was very noisy but there was always hot water. The beds were very comfy and provided us with a lovely night's rest.

Breakfast let down

Very clean room and great service in the evening , bar staff very friendly. I can recommend Sids curry . Breakfast was however a different story , the website says english Breakfast with room , reviews recommend the hot delicious breakfast . When we sat down no one appeared but a continental breakfast was laid out . After 10 mins of waiting i went to the bar to enquire if they had hot breakfast to be told quite abruptly no just whats laid out , cereal, toast ,yoghurt and pastries which was strange as the table next to us had plates with knives and forks . I enquired about gluten free bread which was supplied but what a let down . If hot breakfast is not included then the website needs to be changed . Just a minor thing but expectations are important
