I’ll start by saying the AMI is great, the beach was absolutely beautiful and less than a block away. The house itself needs some attention.. stained carpet and furniture, broken towel/toilet paper holders, knobs and kitchen cabinets, scuffed walls, etc. There wasn’t nearly enough towels, beach towels, beach chairs, dishes, pots/pans, plates... I could go on but that was the least of my worries. Upon arrival we found the pool/hot tub to be filthy and the hot tub was broken. It took over 24 hours for it to be cleaned and repaired. The outdoor tv didn’t work, there were not enough remote controls for all of the indoor TVs, no wine opener or wine glasses, no WiFi password displayed, no instruction on how to use the pool slide/hot tub (you must turn one off to make the other work) and the upstairs bathroom fans made clicking noises all night long. Another issue, you can’t turn the AC unit lower than 70, it constantly increases its tempature and you can’t adjust the settings to hold. The property manager/owner did address our concerns but with attitude and not in a timely manor (we did check in on a Sunday so I understand delays but if someone was checking these houses before check in, a lot of these issues could have been avoided) When you are paying top dollar for your stay, you expect to be treated as a priority and with kindness. Unfortunately we felt like an inconvenience. Hopefully they can take this criticism and make some quality adjustments.
