Went with Tuff E Nuff Tours and they provided an excellent excursion to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley. The reserve is filled with a variety and abundance of wildlife that you can see up close while you snorkel or dive. Our tour operators took the time to educate us on the importance of reef preservation and pointed out many species of fish and coral. Shark Ray Alley is a unique experience where you can see rays and nurse sharks congregating to feed. Highly recommend this excursion!

It's a madhouse out there, honestly. When I was there, there were 20 other boats full of people, and people were running into each other in the water. There's one company that goes at 8 a.m.; find that one and use them, rather than go when everyone else goes at 9.
