「We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. With 2 adults and 2 young children it was very snug, but the amount of space was good as a base for our adventures around the Hokianga. Sunny windows, beautiful view of the sandy north head from the window, lovely sounds of the sea at night. Very heavy rain overnight but we were high and dry, no issues. Bruce was very welcoming and was close by if we needed anything (we didn't). The sofa bed was all made up for the kids when we arrived in the evening. The...

「Bruce is a great host, warm, friendly and helpful. The unit is spacious, clean, well equipped for cooking, furniture and linen are good quality. There is a sea view, and it is well located close to the Hokianga entrance, with good walks nearby. Also very close to the excellent local fish and chip/ takeaway.」

「This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!」

「Beautiful villa, prime location with stunning ocean views and stairs walk down the beach. We were kindly greeted and welcomed by the warm friendly host. The villa is cosy, extremely clean, crisp linen, towels, and equipped with quality kitchen amenities. Fantastic ❤️」
