"Wonderful hotel within walking distance from the train station and the centre of town. The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing and the breakfast is good with a nice selection of food and drinks. "Celebrated an anniversary and birthday while staying at the Waxenstein. An anniversary card and chocolates in our room and a special birthday breakfast table with champagne for my wife’s birthday. All unexpected but greatly appreciated. No doubt our future trip to Grainau will include a stay at the Waxenstein."
